All it takes is five simple steps to book your self-storage unit. Getting a quote will only take a few minutes. Then, choose the time and date that’s right for you, and you’re sorted. We’ll even help move your things into your self-storage unit with our free removal service*.
Step 1: Select your local Space Station store
First things first, finding a self-storage that’s local to you. To do that, simply type your postcode, city, or town in our location finder tool. Alternatively, you can scroll through a list of all our locations across the UK.
Step 2: Choose a storage unit
Once you’ve found a nearby store, your next step is picking a storage unit. Can’t imagine how much space you’ll need? No problem. We’ve created an easy-to-use storage calculator. This is to help you visualise the unit size you’ll need.
If you’re still unsure – don’t worry. Give our team a call or pop down to your local store for more information.
Step 3: Pick your start date
How long will you need to use a storage unit for? Now it’s time to pick the start date and end date. We’re flexible on end dates, so if you need to use the storage unit for longer than expected, no problem! Just let us know and we can extend your booking.
Step 4: Get a quick quote
To find out how much your reservation will cost, you’ll need a quote. You can get one online or over the phone – whatever suits you. We’ll need to take these details from you…
- Whether it’s for personal or business use
- How much space you’ll need
- Your storage start date
- Approximately how long you’ll need it for
- Name, email address, and telephone number
- That’s it!
If you’re happy, we’ll go ahead and reserve your space for you.
Step 5: Pack up and transport your belongings
The packing begins. Get all your items ready to be moved and arrange transport. To make things easier, if you live within 10 miles of your local Space Station store, we’ll pick up and drop off your stuff at your unit for free.
Sound good? Just let us know and we’ll send our professionals to your door. They’ll then carefully transfer everything from your home directly to your storage unit. It’s that easy.
Step 6: Move in
You can now move everything into your safe and secure storage unit. If you’d rather transport your items yourself, that’s fine, we’ll meet you at the store.
When you arrive, we’ll show you around, show you our on-site store (if you’d like to hire crates), and provide you with a unique PIN code for your unit. Finally, start unpacking – and feel free to stop by at any time.
