At one time, it’s reported there were six individual mills in Hall Green, all contributing flour, wool, and other materials into the economy. Today, only two watermills remain in Birmingham: one being the Sarehole Mill, which can be found in Hall Green, and a glowing reminder of the area’s impact during the 19th century.
